What is Chiropracty?
Chiropractors treat physical ailments and problems that
people suffer with joints, bones, muscles and the effects
that these problems have on your nervous system.

Chiropractic treatment
explained
Chiropractors work on all the joints of your body, concentrating in
particular on the spine. They use their hands to make often gentle,
specific adjustments (in other words manipulation) to boost the
efficiency of your nervous system and release your body's natural
healing ability.
Chiropractic
does not involve the use of any drugs or surgery - it is literally a
hands on treatment method that can be very effective for certain
ailments.
You can
instruct a Chiropractic expert privately but it is recommended that
you check that they are registered with the General Chiropractic
Council (see below) who regulate practitioners in the UK.
If you make
a claim for compensation following an accident - you may be entitled
to cost free treatment, provided this has been medically approved.
Always seek
a medical opinion before you commence therapy of this nature. You
must be certain that this form of treatment is appropriate for you.
