The Compensation Culture
There is much discussion about the so called compensation culture in
the UK.
The
topic is almost always talked of in a negative way and most people
dismiss the idea of people making personal injury claims.
"It
never used to happen in my day"

Well maybe it didnt.
Maybe in years gone by people really were more resilient and
probably more submissive.
Now we are fortunate
to have a legal system that - despite its flaws - really does work
for the public.
The current
compensation system is not perfect but it is far better and far more
accessible than it has ever been and that is and extremely positive
thing for the UK public. If you do suffer personal injury as a
result of another's negligence then you have the right to make an
accident claim for rightful compensation.
The negativity that we
hear about compensation claims usually comes from people who have
been lucky enough never to require the services of a lawyer in
pursuing a personal injury claim. Those who have through necessity,
needed to make a claim, will tell you of the positive outcome and
much needed help that they received.
Accident claims do
not just take the shape of compensation payments - there is heavy
emphasis on rehabilitation and administering vital physiotherapy to
aid recovery.
