Accidents with uninsured drivers
If
you are unfortunate enough to be involved in a road accident, the
chances are that the person driving the other car will be a genuine
member of the public and their car will be fully insured as required
by law.
There is however, a possibility that the person driving the other
car will in fact be UNINSURED. In other words they have no insurance
policy covering the car and for all intents and purposes have broken
the law.

It may come as a
surprise to learn that there are more than 1 million uninsured
drivers on the road today.
That means the risk of
being involved in an accident with someone who is uninsured - is
substantial.
Whilst this adds
insult to injury if the uninsured driver was also responsible for
the accident - there is still a way you can secure rightful
compensation.
The MOTOR INSURERS
BUREAU (or MIB) is an organisation set up by the government to compensate
injured victims of accidents involving uninsured motorists. This
bureau also deal with cases involving untraced motorists and they
provide an outlet for individuals to make an accident claim.
There are certain
restrictions in what can and cannot be claimed and generally it is
important that an MIB specialist solicitor deals with your claim to
ensure that you get the compensation you deserve. We have a panel of
such experts who can help you with your accident claim.
